Lucacelli was founded on one conviction: you shouldn’t have to choose between how you look and how you live. Heritage eyewear can feel precious and fragile. Performance eyewear can look like equipment. Neither suits the way people actually move through a day now — a call, a flight, a workout, and a dinner, often before dark.

So we set out to make one frame that could do all of it: Italian materials and finishing, engineered for the realities of a modern day. Considered enough for the evening, tough enough for everything before it.

Every Lucacelli frame starts with Mazzucchelli acetate, sourced from Italy’s legendary acetate house with over 175 years of mastery. Our 8mm slabs exceed industry norms, giving each frame a depth mass production can’t replicate. Frames are then tumbled for up to six weeks in natural polishing media for a finish that seems to glow from within, and hardware is plated in 24-karat gold to resist heat, humidity and salt air.
